RUNAWAYS AND THROWAWAYS

DEFINITION

WHAT IS RUNAWAY?



Runaways are usually seen as youth who leave home by choice, are not in danger, may return home, and do not want to be found.


WHAT IS THROWAWAY?


throwaways are the children who are kicked out of their house by their parents for no reason so they do not have a place to sleep or food. 






RUNAWAYS VS THROWAWAYS DIFFERENCES


A throwaway has no choice in the matter and is forced to live elsewhere place and, second, a runaway is, in contrast, an individual who chooses to live elsewhere without legal.


RUNAWAYS                                                                              
  • Runaways are most vulnerable to falling prey to the sex trade, selling drugs, or being lured into human trafficking, and some steal or panhandle
  • they are have not the love or the comprehension that have the family 

          THROWAWAYS
  • Street youth end up spending their nights in bus stations or finding a room in an abandoned building or an empty stairwell to sleep.
  •  They have few options that lead to a decent and safe living environment.
